Parga

Parga, using natural granite, presents a contrast between the elements of stone and light, which at first glance may seem contradictory. However, by choosing forms that are reminiscent of primitive and primitive stone carvings, the designer has managed to create a good link between tradition and modernity. Three pieces with different heights and diameters express the variety in repetition and play with simple and primitive forms. This simplicity but rich in details, while maintaining a uniform color, gives the space a natural and pure feel that attracts the eye.

In terms of function, these lights, by providing focused and direct light, are ideal for spaces that require task lighting, such as kitchens or work desks. The use of recycled granite from Galician quarries also demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and the optimal use of natural resources. The use of granite, in addition to increasing durability and scratch resistance, gives this collection a sense of heaviness and solidity that can stand out in certain environments, especially minimalist spaces.

The use of discarded granite pieces shows the designer’s inspiration from nature and non-renewable resources. The forms of the lamps, with their raw and simple design language, resemble naturally carved stones or primitive human tools. This return to primitive forms, alongside modern lighting technology, evokes the passage of time and human evolution.
