The architectural lighting in these images clearly utilizes dynamic and engaging visual ideas, creating an immersive experience for the audience. Aesthetically, the design uses vivid colors and a combination of light and shadow to create complex forms on the facade of the clock tower, artistically maintaining the balance between digital art and the historical structure of the building. This lighting evokes a multi-dimensional work of art that displays its modern and passionate dimension while maintaining the essence of traditional architecture.
In terms of function and application, the use of advanced lighting technology to create moving and dynamic images that are mounted on the tower structure shows attention to detail and harmony with the original form of the building. This method is not only visually appealing, but also effectively expresses the link between the past and the present. This design could have been implemented with projection mapping technologies that enable the implementation of these complex and diverse images, and it can be considered an example of the creative use of technology in urban spaces.
From a design and gestalt perspective, this lighting creates contrasts and balances between light and dark, visual illusions and visual flows in the mind of the viewer. The designer’s source of inspiration can be from nature, sea waves, or even ancient motifs of Islamic art and traditional architecture. This work has similarities with modern lighting arts and multimedia displays used in historical and urban spaces, and is reminiscent of the global trend of using digital art to revive the identity of places.
