The Paysage lighting collection, designed by Hannes Peer, is aesthetically appealing and unique. The design of both the Lina Applique and the Linetta Table Lamp, made of handmade Murano glass tiles, exudes a sense of authenticity and craftsmanship. The delicate texture of the glass and the combination of vivid colors create a warm and soft light that gives the space a dynamic and impressive spirit. The use of simple forms and minimal lines in the design of these lamps portrays beauty through simplicity and function.
In terms of function and application, both lamps benefit from simple mechanisms for installation and use. In the design of the Lina Applique, the use of two steel hooks to suspend the glass tile has created a stylish and simple combination. This simplicity in the mechanism, combined with the multilayer glass tiles seen in the Linetta, not only distributes the light in an attractive way, but also makes the overall structure of the product strong and efficient. These simple mechanisms and transparency in the structure combine functional and aesthetic aspects well.
From a gestalt and source of inspiration perspective, this collection is somewhat inspired by nature. The glass tiles with their intricate textures and varied colors seem to have similarities to natural elements such as crystals and gemstones. Perhaps Peer was inspired by the natural world, especially the transparent and crystalline structures, and by combining Murano art with modern elements, he was able to create a strong gestalt of the intersection of tradition and modernity.
