The design of the “BRANCHY” lighting showcases a clever combination of art and emerging technologies. From an aesthetic point of view, the lighting creates a stunning work of art using transparent crystal tubes and nano-coatings in a variety of colors such as gold, silver and rose gold. The symmetrical and intricate design of this lighting creates a sense of movement and dynamics, as if each tube is a tree branch that has grown naturally in space.
In terms of functionality and application, “BRANCHY” is capable of creating different lighting moods and changing the atmosphere of the space, thanks to the LED light source embedded in each sandblasted element and metal rings. From a mechanism and gestalt perspective, “BRANCHY” is inspired by nature and natural structures, with the designer’s main inspiration being tree branches or natural organic forms, recreated with a modern and minimalist approach. The design also resembles molecular structures or branches of neural networks, which are somehow interconnected and yet scattered and free. This combination between nature and technology presents a unique and innovative aesthetic.
