The 751D • PARK lighting, as described, has a striking aesthetic that draws inspiration from the depth and richness of the historical and industrial structures. The use of warm colors in the 2200K to 3000K range provides a sense of nostalgia and recall of the busy industrial past of the place. This warmth, in contrast to the cold and harsh metals of the industrial structures, creates a pleasant contrast that enhances the prominence and visual importance of the architectural elements. The play of light and shadow also contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the design, highlighting the grandeur of the machinery and the massive towers.
From a functional perspective, the lighting has been carefully designed with energy efficiency in mind, reflecting the sustainable approach to the project. The use of RGBW lamps for different settings and the possibility of changing the light for different events demonstrates the flexibility of this lighting system. These mechanisms respond well to functional needs and, by creating new visual interactions, allow for a sense of liveliness and dynamism even in an old and silent structure. In this way, lighting acts as more than a decorative element and forms part of the spatial experience of this industrial park.
From a Gestalt perspective, the lighting of this space is somehow reminiscent of the experience of observing the starry sky. This idea is inspired by natural elements, such as the changes in the light of the night sky. While this design is mechanical and industrial, it is presented in a lively and dynamic way that is inspired by the world around us, especially the night and its natural lights, achieving a harmonious and balanced combination. This place is somehow reminiscent of spaces where natural and industrial elements are mixed together and create a unique visual and spatial experience.
