In terms of industrial design, the Magma Light lighting collection is clearly inspired by natural elements such as lava and molten materials in terms of aesthetics. With its curved and organic forms, this product is reminiscent of molten masses that take on special and unique shapes during the cooling process. The non-uniform and irregular shapes of the blown glass bubbles enhance the naturalistic and handmade feel of the work. The use of volcanic rock as molds also further highlights this connection with the earth and nature, giving the product a raw and powerful feel.

In terms of function and application, this product diffuses light in a soft and indirect way, and due to the different thicknesses of the glass, the light is more concentrated in some places and more diffused in others. This difference in thickness and structure gives each piece a unique identity that creates different moods in different spaces. This type of lighting also seems to be very suitable for spaces that do not require direct light (such as relaxation areas or luxury lounges).

In terms of mechanism and gestalt, this collection uses the contrast of clear glass and internal light to attract the viewer’s attention and evokes a sense of fluidity and movement. Overall, the design is inspired by the movement of volcanic lava that gradually cools and hardens, and in this way, both the form and the function of the product are achieved in a beautiful harmony inspired by nature.
